Objective
The Fund aims to maximise total returns through a combination of long-term capital growth^ and consistent current income# while preserving capital* by investing in a target fund.
Note: ^ “Long-term” in this context refers to a period of 5 – 7 years.
# Income is in the form of units.
* The Fund is neither a capital protected nor capital guaranteed fund.
Fund Category Non-Core – Core (Feeder Fund – Balanced (Shariah-compliant)).
Investment
Strategy
The Fund will invest primarily in the target fund, namely RHB Hazeem Fund (“Hazeem Fund”) managed by RHBAM.

Both RHBAM and the Hazeem Fund are regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.




Although the Fund is passively managed, its investments will be rebalanced from time to time to meet subscription and redemption transactions and to ensure orderly and efficient fund management.

Allocation
Investment in units of the Hazeem Fund At least 95% of NAV.
Investment in liquid assets including Islamic money market instruments and cash placements 1% to 5% of NAV.
Benchmark
Performance
A composite benchmark consisting of:
  • 50% FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index or any equivalent index that may replace it by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad; and
  • 50% 12-month Commodity Murabahah Deposit rate of RHB Islamic Bank Berhad.
